Stage Lighting Super Saturday

Stage Lighting Super Saturday is an annual all-day workshop dedicated to the art, craft, and technology of lighting design. Since 2005, this New York City event has brought together students, teachers, and professionals for a full day of hands-on training, inspiring presentations, and real-world learning.

Each year, Super Saturday features sessions led by leaders from across the entertainment lighting community, including celebrated designers such as Jennifer Tipton, Ken Billington, Don Holder, and Natasha Katz. Topics cover every side of the field—from the fundamentals of design and rigging to control systems, programming, and the latest in lighting technology used on stages, in concerts, and at events.
