Sean Dane discovered how easy wireless dimming can be while working at Kansas City Repertory Theatre as the Props Foreman. Today, Sean is Sales Director and Application Specialist for RC4 Wireless. At the Rep, he specialized in small electronics, carpentry, metal work, computer graphics and period-specific properties acquisition. Outside of his duties at the KC Rep Sean oversaw graduate design students from the University of Missouri Kansas City while doing their GTA in props.

Sean has worked with some of the top directors and designers in American theatre today including Moises Kaufmann, David Cromer, Gary Griffen, Eric Rosen, Walt Spangler, Jack Magaw, Neal Patel, and many others. Sean’s freelance experience includes 14 shows at The New Theatre Restaurant, the top grossing dinner theatre in the country, and both the 5th Ave Theatre and Broadway premier of A Christmas Story the Musical. Sean is thrilled to be educating current and future professionals on the world of wireless DMX and Dimming. Sharing the real life experience he gained while working as a props man is truly rewarding. Sean is also a proud member of the Society of Properties Artisan Managers (S.P.A.M.).
